The First Annual Steve Shoemaker Invitational Experienced Rider Class |
| Casualty List: Bavorak Boys - 0 Cones - 43 Our treasurer extraordinaire', Steve Shoemaker, once again put away his walker and came out to show the young pups what riding is all about. The Bavorak Boys attending Chris Hancock's ERC course showed their consummate skills and manliness in a dazzling display of vehicular control. After Steve showed us all how to handle a freight train at low speed, Rick Wooley showed the crowd that a little red Italian can indeed go slow. This was followed by the Jim Quigley perspiration demonstration, and the instruction by Dan Dunlap on how to take a 600 pound motorcycle and add another 500 pounds in gadgets. Dan's fairing mounted blender saved the day, serving Mai Tai's for the refreshment of all. Steve Roll with the newest bike and Kim Miles with the oldest, showed the diversity for which our club is known. All of which was orchestrated by Herr Commandant Chris Hancock. A good time was had by all, and most importantly, all the Bavorak Boys passed the ERC. Thanks again Chris for the time and effort you invested that just may one day save a life. |
